  2. Fabulous, Nordi!

It was shocking to return from Israel (where they do Hanukkah, except in Bethlehem where they celebrate Christmas for the tourists) and arrive in Seattle admist christmas music and holiday decor. When I was last here, it was halloween, and it's still not even thanksgiving. Life feels so rushed. I want to pull the cord and stop the bus and let everyone off to play in the autumn leaves.

Go outside and breathe the crisp air. And bring some leaves inside. Plan something sneaky nice for someone, or at the very least drink hot cider with someone you love.

  3. I have been looking forward to Thanksgiving for so long now, and I know that when tomorrow is over and all that remains are leftovers and photographs and memories I will be a bit sad that the day has come and gone. And though I have been listening to Christmas music on occasion since the beginning of November I assure you that Thanksgiving does not mean any less to me. In my life I cannot remember being as excited for Thanksgiving as I am this year. So tomorrow I will have the most Thaksgivingy day you can have when it's 75 degrees out and then on Friday I will decorate my home for Christmas and look forward to all the remaining wonders this season has to offer.
